Setting sight to E-governance: SAVE THE BABY GIRL

SAVE THE BABY GIRL is targetted at the worsening sex-ratio of male/females in India. The Census 2001 had predicted a very grim picture of male to female sex ratio and raised the alarm. Kolhapur District Administration embarked on a special initiative and it resulted in the form of Save The Baby Girl (STBG) Project. Sukrut has designed and developed a very specific embedded hardware for Save The Baby Girl (www.savethebabygirl.com). The product named as "SIOB" or "SIlent OBserver", will be used to observe the under-reporting or false reporting of sonography centers. Save The Baby Girl (STBG) has won the NASSCOM award in the government catagory for 2010 and has been appreciated by former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in his recent visit to the city of Kolhapur.

Sukrut is entering in the Embedded Systems Design with industrial partners.

Sukrut is looking forward to collaborate with industries. In the quest of this, we are joining hands with a DSP Application group based out of Mumbai to provide TI based platforms for their developments. In addition to this, we are also talking for the embedded design services in the metering domain on TI processors and a monitoring system to India's leading tower monitoring company for their hardware and embedded software design. It is important to provide a telecom grade solution for such a scenario with high availability and alarm/notification system. The architechturual development work is underway.

Sukrut to provide specialized training of Embedded Systems and VLSI.

In the Indian perspective, the embedded systems training is largely un-organized. We are providing specialized training to local colleges in Pune and plan to expand in other cities. The key ingradient is the quality of training and Sukrut has won accolades for its training systems.

Along with the networking and telecom training, Sukrut is entering into the embedded and VLSI. This is largely untapped area and it requires highest standards of understanding. Our experts shall be providing weekend trainings to the prospective institutes, tailered to their specific needs.
